The vase features a removable metal lid that elegantly adapts the vase to suit the flowers. A lush bouquet has more space and arranges beautifully in the vase without the lid, while individual flowers and narrow bouquets sit strikingly in the vase with the lid. Magnus Löfgren is a Swedish designer, with his own studio in Stockholm since 1985. From the beginning, he has worked with Design House Stockholm – his first creations were the Shell candleholder and the Focus vase, which was awarded the Utmärkt Svensk Form reward in 1995.
Löfgren’s trademarks are simplicity and creativity, combined with Nordic traditions in design.

Did you notice the wood grains?
Every wooden Aarikka item is unique, because every piece of wood is unique. Products are handmade, visible in them and the volume they are made in - small volumes for a need. So the small details of life are visible. Light stripes visible in the wooden pearls are made by Kaija's husband Erkki Ruokonen's unique technique, which is still used to hand-dye all wooden products in Raisio.
