The Maius print is inspired by the impressive Maius room divider from the 70s, combining round Aarikka shapes with edge. Let it take you back to the roots of Aarikka, to the source of shape and colours. Venerating old classics, creating something new. When you add the iconic Aarikka wooden pearl, the result is rather chic.
The Karoliina earrings consists of a wooden pearl and a cut-to-shape wood, with the Maius print, hanging from it. The earrings are light to wear. Combine them boldly with other collections.

Every wooden Aarikka item is unique, because every piece of wood is unique. Products are handmade, visible in them and the volume they are made in - small volumes for a need. So the small details of life are visible. Light stripes visible in the wooden pearls are made by Kaija's husband Erkki Ruokonen's unique technique, which is still used to hand-dye all wooden products in Raisio.
